MAY 1 - NOVEMBER 30 2025 (SUMMER/FALL)
The full balance will be charged 4 days prior to arrival.
If booking is made inside of 4 days, the full amount will be applied at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellation outside 4 days of arrival
If the reservation is canceled inside 4 days of arrival (after full payment has been taken), it is non-refundable.
A cancellation number will be issued at time of notification
DECEMBER 1 – DECEMBER 18 2025 (WINTER)
The full balance will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
If booking is made inside of 14 days, the full amount will be applied at the time of booking.

DECEMBER 19 – DECEMBER 31 2025 (FESTIVE)
The 1st night of stay is taken as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
The full balance will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
If booking is made inside of 60 days, the full amount will be applied at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy:
If the reservation is cancelled outside of the 60 days of arrival the first night deposit is forfeited.
If the reservation is canceled inside 60 days of arrival (after full payment has been taken), it is non-refundable.

JANUARY 1 – APRIL 9 2026
The full balance will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
If booking is made inside of 14 days, the full amount will be applied at the time of booking.

If the reservation is cancelled outside of the 14 days there is no fee.
If the reservation is canceled inside 14 days of arrival (after full payment has been taken), it is non-refundable.

APRIL 10 – APRIL 30 2026
The full balance will be charged 4 days prior to arrival.
If booking is made inside of 4 days, the full amount will be applied at the time of booking.

Non-Refundable Rate.
Our discounted, non-refundable reservations are charged in full at the time of booking.
Group Bookings.
If the reservation is a group reservation, a special policy may be contracted between the group sales coordinator and the group organizer. If no such contract was/is created and agreed upon in writing the normal policy that coincides with the booking dates for that group will hold.
Carleton Lodge policies and FAQ.

All guests must be 25 years or older to stay at the Carleton Lodge or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same room. Under-aged guests travelling with a partner or friends who are over the age of 25 do not meet the age requirement policy and will therefore be refused check-in. All guests are required to present a photo ID upon check-in.

Rates are based on up to a two-person occupancy for a one-bedroom suite and four-person occupancy for a two-bedroom suite. An extra person charge of $30 plus taxes per person, per night, applies for additional guests. A One-Bedroom suite accommodates a maximum of four people, a Two-Bedroom suite accommodates a maximum of six people. Extra-person charges do not apply for children 18 years and under.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. This can be done at the Sundial Hotel front desk.
*Please note we require a credit card to be presented and swiped at check-in. The credit card will be authorized $100 per night for security and incidentals (maximum of $500 for stays 5 nights or longer) and released at check-out. The credit card must be the same credit card used to make the booking and must be under the same name that the reservation is under.
We do not accept debit cards or cash.

Carleton Lodge is a non-smoking facility; all guest rooms are non-smoking. A fine will be charged to guests who choose to disobey the non-smoking policy.

The Carleton Lodge is not pet-friendly; we do not allow animals in the hotel with the exception of service animals. We require a copy of the certificate at check-in or ahead of the stay.

An overnight parking fee of $45 plus 5% GST per vehicle, per night, will be charged to the guest room. This fee includes underground parking, entry and exit privileges in a monitored parking location for your ease of mind. Guests can park their cars until 1:00 p.m. on the day of checkout, and then further rates will apply. Parking space is subject to availability. The parking garage can accommodate vehicles up to 6’8″ high. The hotel does not offer oversize vehicle parking up to 6'11" and is not responsible for finding alternative parking.
