Northface Whistler Half Marathon

Whistler’s 3rd annual Half Marathon expands through the picturesque Whistler Valley around pristine lakes, golf courses and all with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Whistler Farmers Market

The best way to start your Sunday in Whistler is cruse up to the base of Blackcomb to indulge in tasty food, fresh baking’s & local produce! Enjoy the live entertainment, family activities and view creations from our local artisans. Whistler Farmers Markets take place Sundays from 11am to 3pm.

Tough Mudder

June 22 – 23, 2013
Join participants from around the world as they enter an obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, and mental determination. Come out and support these athletes on this 10mile obstacle course as they trudge through swamps, climb rope walls, crawl through tunnels walk through fire and more all to support the Wounded Warrior Project supporting those soldiers returning from real life battle fields.

BC Bike Race

June 29 – July 6, 2013
The BC Bike Race takes place over 7days touring some of British Columbia’s best West Coast trails and towns. This tour takes riders over pristine mountains, across oceans and bays and more while making their way to Whistler’s Olympic Plaza July 7th. Come and cheer on participants as they cross the finish line wrapping up their journey of the ultimate single track experience of a lifetime.

Slow Food Cycle

August 18, 2013
This annual sea to sky event takes you riding down the stunning Pemberton Meadows stopping at local farms along the way. Bring your bike and make sure it has a basket so you can fill it with all locally grown fresh produce. This event is fun for all ages and a perfect way to spend a Sunday touring the farms, sampling freshly picked produce and enjoy taking in the breath taking scenery.

IRONMAN Canada

August 25, 2013
Whistler hosts IRONMAN Canada this year with one of the world’s toughest triathlons winding its way around Whistler’s Valley Trails, pristine lakes and mountain roads. This race starts with a two-loop swim of Alta Lake, with a transition onto bikes for a ride to the Callaghan Valley and up to Pemberton. After the bike ride competitors gear up for a run via the Valley Trail winding around Whistler’s stunning Green Lake and Lost Lake finishing the competition at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Salomon Meet Your Maker

RBC GranFondo Whistler

September 7, 2013
This marks the third event where riders from all over the world take on 122 km ride from Vancouver to Whistler along the infamous Sea to Sky highway! Celebrate with these amazing riders as they cross the finish line at the Whistler Olympic Plaza and stay the night for GranFondo post-event celebrations.
